| Suggestion:
In vocabulary section of the student portfolio, students should
begin
a list of adjectives. This list may be updated throughout
the year. |
| |
| Suggestion:
The interview and subsequent writing frame (attached) is an
excellent beginning
writing activity. This can set the precedent for how
all future writing
assignments will be checked, revised, and rewritten.
Have students interview
each other and answer the questions with one or two words.
Then model for
them how to fill in the frame with those words to complete
a paragraph. This
is the first draft. Correct any errors and have students
rewrite the paragraph. Do
this until the writing is perfect. |
